Sponsorship Package - Pace Park All-Abilities Playground

The Season of Giving Is Upon Us!  The Village of Salado is calling on business owners and residents to consider making a financial or in-kind donation this holiday season to help make the construction of an all-abilities playground in Salado a reality. 

With the arrival of Thanksgiving, the Village has unveiled a unique fundraising initiative to raise the $359,000 still needed to fund construction of the new all-abilities playground in Pace Park.  This program of giving offers different sponsorship opportunities to help fund construction of the unique playground.

Donors can sponsor individual elements of the playground, contribute as a general sponsor, or sponsor benches, trees, etc. The search is also on for businesses interested in becoming in-kind sponsors by providing some of the construction services needed.

With the assistance of the community, the Village of Salado has approved plans for the development of the all-abilities playground that will be constructed adjacent to the current playground at Pace Park. The goal of this project is to create innovative play experiences and provide quality outdoor play for people of all ages and abilities that develop the whole child, the whole environment, and ultimately, benefit the whole community.

The estimated construction cost of the playground is $675,000.  To date, $316,000 has been raised and $359,000 is still needed to fund development of the playground.

With the holiday season upon us, the Village of Salado hopes residents and business owners become motivated by the holiday spirit, in this season of giving, and step up to become a sponsor of this outstanding community project.
