Board of Aldermen public meeting on Thursday, August 9th at 6 p.m.

The Village of Salado Board of Aldermen will hold a public meeting on Thursday, August 9th at 6 p.m. at the Salado ISD Intermediate School (550 Thomas Arnold Road) to discuss the possible acquisition of the Mill Creek Golf Course by the Village.

In the Spring of this year, owners of the golf course approached the Village of Salado to see if the Village was interested in purchasing the golf course. In the months that followed, the Board has carefully examined the purchase proposal, evaluating everything from the golf courses operating and financial history to the course's immediate and future capital improvement needs to the options available for financing such a purchase.

Board members have scheduled the August 9th public meeting to provide a detailed briefing on the proposal for residents and to discuss the status of the Board's  deliberations. Residents will be given an opportunity to ask questions and offer their opinion to board members on the matter.
