James Construction to remove the low water crossing on Rose Lane
Bell County has entered into a contract with James Construction to remove the low water crossing on Rose Lane. The contract will include construction of a new 12-8x5x32' multiple box culvert at the site. The new structure will pass a 100-year storm event. The three-month construction project is expected to be finished by October 31, 2018. The road will be closed to through traffic during construction. Traffic will be detoured around the project site using the IH-35 Frontage Roads. Barricades will be set on August 3rd and work will begin on August 8th. The contractor plans to work 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with some Saturday work expected.
