What is an Open Records Request?
The Village of Salado is committed to open government and transparency by providing access to public records per the Texas Public Information Act, Chapter 552, Texas Government Code. Public records include paper and/or electronic documentation created, obtained, or used by the Village of Salado in its business and which are in its custody.
How Do I Make An Open Records Request?
Any person wishing to inspect or receive a copy of public records kept by the Village of Salado must request it in writing and may do so online using the Open Records Request Form provided below. The Village of Salado is not required to answer questions, perform legal research, or create new information in response to your open records request.
